Shark Tank India judge Anupam Mittal asks a pitcher not to lie when it comes to health.

In the recent episode of Shark Tank India 3, we saw Anupam Mittal getting a little upset with a pitcher. It all started after Pathik Patil introduced sharks to his oat-based breakfast cereals and snacking products. He revealed that he is a marathon runner himself and shared that he also has a cotton factory business which is worth Rs 700 crores. He then asked for Rs 1 crore in return for 3 per cent equity in his snacking brand.

Even though Vineeta Singh and Aman Gupta backed out of the deal immediately, Anupam Mittal asked the pitcher if his brand was healthy. “You implicitly claim that it is healthy,” Anupam said to which Deepinder interrupted, “Dost, this is not healthy.” Pathik then argued, “100% healthy nahi bikta hai, aaj kal logon ko sugar chahiye, fried chahiye sab kuch chahiye.” Deepinder then asked the pitcher “Sugar de do but healthy mat bolo.” Deepinder and Anupam also backed out of the deal.

Namita Thapar offered Patil Rs 25 lakh for 2.5 per cent equity and the rest Rs 87 lakh as debt. However, when the pitcher asked her to remove the debt, she refused and backed out of the deal as well.

After pitchers were left with no option, Anupam Mittal shared a suggestion and asked the pitcher not to lie. “All five sharks are out. My only advice to you is that health ke maamle mein jhoot bolna bandh karo,” he said.
