Krushna Abhishek Takes a BIG Step to End 8-Year Fight With Govinda; Know How

Krushna Abhishek is taking a big step to end his fight with Govinda. The Kapil Sharma Show fame actor has finally revealed that his sister Arti Singh is getting married soon and for the same, they will be inviting their ‘mama’ as well. Krushna was speaking at the launch of his show ‘OMG! Yeh Mera India’ on Wednesday when he confirmed that Arti is getting married to her boyfriend Dipak Chauhan in April this year. He also revealed that the first invitation will be sent out to Govinda.

“Arre sabse pehla invite unko he jaayega kya baat kar rahe ho… he’s my mama, we have had a few disagreements that are a separate issue but the first wedding card will go to him and he will definitely attend the wedding. (Of course, the first invitation will go to him. What are you talking about? He’s my uncle. While we may have had some disagreements, which is a separate matter, he will receive the initial wedding card),” Krushna said as quoted by DNA India.

For the unversed, Krushna Abhishek and Govinda’s rift is not unknown and has been going on for almost eight years now. The two have not been on talking terms. Krushna has also skipped The Kapil Sharma Show in the past whenever Govinda was invited as a guest.

However, in recent times, Krushna has repeatedly expressed his desire to reunite with his mama. Last year, the actor tagged Govinda in one of his social media posts and wrote, “Dancing has always been my passion since my childhood when use to travel with my mama @govinda_herono1 on sets n see him dancing and acting I use to love that n today on sets doing the same thing am loving it.”

Prior to this, Krushna told Indian Express that ‘sooner or later they will be back together.’ “He is my mama and I know sooner or later we will be back together. I always believe that blood is thicker than water and it has the power to reunite us,” he had said.

While it seems that Krushna is making all possible efforts to reunite with his mama, Govinda, on the other hand, has made it clear that he is keeping his ‘distance’. “Sometimes, one tends to cross the line and there I’m a little strict with the whole family. If you cross the line, then I will keep my distance and it is not due to enmity. It is just for my peace of mind and to keep a safe environment around me. So, it is not that I have anything against Krushna,” the actor told Bombay Times in August 2023.
