Recently, in an interview with The Quint, Kiran Rao denied ever commenting on Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s films. Not only this, Kiran confessed that she had never even seen his films. However, she has often spoken about misogyny and will continue to talk about women’s representation on the silver screen. Kiran further added that if Sandeep Reddy Vanga has anything to say to Aamir, he should directly tell him man to man as she is not responsible for Aamir’s work. She was quoted as saying:
“If Mr Reddy has something to say to Aamir, he should tell him man to man. I am not responsible for Aamir’s work or Aamir Khan. So, I wish Mr Reddy would address his questions directly to Mr Khan.”
