Dhanush’s Next D51 Titled As ‘Kubera’, Actor Looks Unrecognisable In First Look; Watch

Dhanush has created a buzz on social media after the first look of his next film Kubera was released. The film was till now known as D51. The makers on Friday released the motion poster featuring the actor in an unrecognizable avatar. The first look has left fans eager to know about his role. Rashmika Mandanna is also in the cast of the film.

Kubera is one of the most awaited films of Dhanush and with the first look released, it has increased the excitement level. Kubera is the name of the richest Hindu god. In the first look, Dhanush seems to be playing the titular role in the film but in contrast to his name, the actor looks like a beggar. In the background, we can see Goddess Parvati and Lord Shiva photo on the wall.

Recently, a video of Dhanush and Rashmika Mandanna shooting for the film went viral. The film is being directed by Shekhar Kammula.

Last year, Rashmika announced that she would be a part of the film as well. Taking to Instagram, Rashmika shared a video to make the special announcement. “Hi guys. Today I have a big, big, BIG, surprise for all of you. I am very, very excited about this so I am really excited to show it to all of you as well,” she said, before uncovering the frame poster of D51

D51 was announced on Dhanush’s birthday last month. Director Shekhar Kammula took to his social media accounts and announced that he will be helming Dhanush’s 51st film. Along with the announcement, he shared a poster in which a bundle of money was placed while a city landscape filled the remaining frame.
